Jade is a passionate advocate and lover of animals, with an extensive background in the veterinary industry. With more than 10 years working as a Veterinary nurse, educator and manager, her experiences have shown her first hand the importance of compassion in theveterinary industry and the need for progressive, animal free solutions in research & medicine.

Jade's love for animals, combined with her passion for the veterinary industry, fuels her passion for finding innovative and humane alternatives to animal testing. At NZAVS, her goal is to lead the charge not only in advocating for a ban on animal testing, but also sharing exciting animal - free alternatives that benefit the medical & research community.

Jade lives on a lifestyle block with her husband and their many animals - 3 dogs, 2 horses, 4 chickens, one very spoiled cat, and a number of sheep adopted from the SPCA.
