Brooke is a passionate advocate for animal welfare whose journey with NZAVS started in 2017 while she was studying animal ethics at the University of Canterbury. Her journey in animal activism led her through protests, vigils, fostering animals and eventually to her favourite place: NZAVS. She worked as a committed volunteer and intern before officially joining the team as the Supporter Engagement Officer.

Brooke spends her spare time playing video games or reading books with her cat asleep beside her. She is dedicated to NZAVS's mission of creating a compassionate, cruelty-free Aotearoa for animals and people alike.
